We have been a part of the Action Family for almost 8 years now. First with my oldest daughter and now with her younger sister. When we started at Action karate in February of 2018 my oldest daughter was very shy and reserved. Action set her up with confidence, self-discipline, and the drive it takes to become a successful young lady. Truly like being part of a family. My daughter has been going to action karate for about 3 years now. She loves it. She has always been shy and the karate has been bring her out of her shell. My younger daughter is 5 and just started. Seven Years of Building Stronger Kids in Whitehall

Action Karate Whitehall opened its doors in February 2019 with one goal: give Lehigh Valley families a place where their children could grow into the versions of themselves they hadn’t yet found. Seven years later, that goal hasn’t changed, only the number of families who’ve lived it. We’ve run school programs across the local districts, hosted community events, and watched students earn their black belts who started as shy 5-year-olds who didn’t want to look anyone in the eye. In December 2025 alone, eight students achieved their black belts. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when the right environment, the right instructors, and the right family support come together.

What is the style of martial arts that you teach?

At Action Karate Whitehall, we teach Tang Soo Do — on 1,300 square feet of dedicated mat, six days a week, with more five-star reviews than any other karate school in the Whitehall area. The school opened in 2019 and offers not just the standard curriculum, but private lessons for students who want personalised progression and a dedicated programme for students with additional learning needs. The training environment is structured for focus: every detail of the facility is set up to let students show up, work hard, and grow.

When can I attend classes at Action Karate Whitehall?

We run classes six days a week with multiple time slots. Coming up: Action Karate Invitational Tournament (March 21), Pickleball Kingdom Martial Arts Demo Team Performance (March 28), Whitehall-Coplay School District Family Night (April 9), and Instructor Certification Training (May 2). What should I wear to my first class?

Nothing special on your first visit to Action Karate Whitehall. Comfortable clothing you can move in is all you need. Your uniform (gi) is included in the $49 intro offer. Bare feet on the mat, no shoes required.

Who are the classes suitable for?

Whitehall runs programmes from age 3 through to adults, with private lessons available for students who benefit from more personalised instruction. We serve families from Whitehall-Coplay, Catasauqua, Northampton, Allentown, and Parkland school districts. Eight students earned their black belts in December 2025, and students from the school competed at the October 2025 Action Invitational Tournament, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals. The school also offers specific support for students with additional learning needs.
