So glad we switched to Action Karate from another dojo in the area. In particular, my youngest daughter has completely blossomed in the welcoming and comforting environment created by their experienced teachers. Their instruction feels more deliberate and focused on practical skills for the real world. After trying a few places in the Doylestown area even for myself, I wouldn't recommend any other dojo for families.

My son just moved into the 7+ kids class. The staff at action karate is so supportive and fun with the kids. Leo is excited to attend his classes and continue to learn. In addition to fitness, they teach kids how to focus and persevere- I have found this has translated to life outside action karate as well in other sports and school. Ms. Nicole and Mr. Riley also have an amazing ability to remember every single person’s name and give individual encouragement and support regardless of how many kids in the class. Highly recommend!

We are so happy to have found this place for our son. We were looking for patience from the instructors because our 3.5 year old was all over the place - could not sit still, loses focus quickly, etc.. Miss Nicole assured us that with time, we would see the effects of karate, and she wasn’t wrong. We started in July and although we thought it would never stick for him, he’s developed a love for karate and the discipline. The instructors have been amazing - Mr. Riley is such a great role model and Miss Marie does a fantastic job of updating us with our son’s progress. What is the style of martial arts that you teach?

At Action Karate Doylestown, we teach Tang Soo Do — a Korean martial art that develops coordination, focus, respect, and practical self-defence. One thing worth knowing about this location: our team has deep, specific experience supporting students with additional needs. That's not a line about being "inclusive" — it's a deliberate part of how the school is built.
