The Right Class for Every Kid (and Every Adult Ready to Start)

Whether you’re dropping off a three-year-old who won’t sit still or you’re an adult who’s been meaning to do something for yourself, Action Karate Skippack has a class built around where you are right now and not where you think you should be.

Adult Martial Arts Classes

You don’t need to be fit to start. You get fit by starting. Our adult classes build real strength, sharper focus, and the kind of calm confidence that carries into every corner of your life.

Kids Martial Arts Classes

Less screen time, more self-respect. Our kids’ programs give children the tools to focus, listen, and handle hard moments on the mat and off it.

Ninja Sharks Ages 3 to 6 Classes

Your youngest doesn’t have to wait. Ninja Sharks is where big energy meets big character. It’s a structured, joyful introduction to movement, listening, and trying again.

Special Needs Martial Arts Classes

Every child deserves to feel capable. Our instructors are trained to meet students where they are, adapting each class so that every student, whatever their starting point, gets to experience what it feels like to grow.

Birthday Parties

Skip the bounce house. Give them a belt ceremony, a battle cry, and a memory that’ll last longer than the cake.

Why Action Karate

Because Confidence Isn't a Trophy. It's a Habit.

Your child isn’t going to find their voice sitting in front of a screen. They’re going to find it the moment they hold a board for the first time, break through it, and realize: I did that.

Real skills that transfer to real life

Every class is built around focus, discipline, and respect and not just kicks and blocks. Parents tell us they notice the difference at dinner, at school, and in how their child talks to adults.

Instructors who see your child as an individual

At Action Karate Skippack, we don't run a cookie-cutter class. We adapt regardless of learning styles, energy levels, and starting points, so every student gets to move forward at their own pace.

A community your family actually becomes part of

From the Eagles Autism Challenge to local school programs and community festivals, we show up in Skippack the same way we ask our students to show up on the mat: with commitment, energy, and heart.

Miss Casey invited my 6 year old son to 3 free classes to see if karate was something we’d be interested in. He loved it! And so did we as parents. Within 2 lessons, he’s been more respectful, kind, and confident at home in a very organic way. The value is in the total package, the physical reward is just a bonus. Sadly, summer is too busy to sign up full time but my first choice for fall extra curricular is Action.

My son has been attending Action Karate for three years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The instructors are fantastic—engaging, patient, and truly invested in each student’s growth, both in martial arts and in confidence. The environment is positive and encouraging, making it a place where kids learn valuable self-defense skills and also discipline, respect, and perseverance. My son absolutely loves it here. Highly recommend Action Karate for anyone looking for a great martial arts program!

Our Story

Active in the Skippack Community Since 2020

Since opening our doors, Action Karate Skippack has become something more than a martial arts school. It’s become a fixture in this community. We show up at the Skippack Spring Festival, the Harleysville Memorial Day Parade, the Skippack French Market, and local birthday celebrations because we believe a martial arts school has a responsibility to be present, not just in class, but in the life of the neighborhood it serves. Our partnership with the Eagles Autism Challenge reflects that same commitment: everyone belongs here.

Students who train consistently learn to pause before they act both on the mat when they’re challenged, and at home when they’re frustrated. Parents notice.
Belt progressions aren’t handed out. They’re earned. When a child works toward something and achieves it, they carry that reference point everywhere.
Focus, eye contact, raising a hand instead of acting out. These are skills trained deliberately in every class.
When one child trains, the whole household often shifts. We see it regularly: the sibling wants to join, the parent starts a class, and the dinner table gets a little calmer.

What inspires me is watching our students grow, as a person in general or in what they had sought out martial arts for. I also love helping families grow closer together through martial arts.
